These Community Guidelines establish the standards of conduct for all users of Strangeer services and its associated community platforms. By using Strangeer, you agree to follow these guidelines and help maintain a positive environment for all community members.

2. Core Principles

Engage in meaningful discussions and provide helpful feedback to build a positive community.

3. Acceptable Use

Strangeer services may be used for:

  • Server security and moderation purposes
  • Community management and engagement
  • Educational and informational activities
  • Legitimate bot configuration and customization
  • Support and troubleshooting assistance
  • Feature requests and feedback submission

4. Prohibited Conduct

Strictly Prohibited

The following activities will result in immediate suspension or termination of services.

Harassment and Abuse

  • Harassment, bullying, or intimidation of other users
  • Hate speech, discrimination, or targeted attacks
  • Doxxing or sharing personal information without consent
  • Impersonation of other users, staff, or organizations
  • Coordinated harassment campaigns or brigading

Malicious Activities

  • Attempting to exploit, hack, or compromise bot systems
  • Distributing malware, viruses, or malicious links
  • Performing or promoting DDoS attacks
  • Reverse engineering or attempting to steal bot code
  • Creating or using unauthorized bot modifications

Spam and Abuse

  • Spamming commands, channels, or support systems
  • Creating multiple accounts to bypass restrictions
  • Excessive or inappropriate use of bot features
  • Advertising or promoting competing services
  • Selling or transferring bot access without authorization

Content Violations

  • Sharing illegal, harmful, or inappropriate content
  • Copyright infringement or intellectual property violations
  • Adult content in non-appropriate channels or contexts
  • Misinformation or deliberately false information
  • Content that violates Discord's Terms of Service

5. Server Administrator Responsibilities

Server administrators using Strangeer are expected to:

  • Configure bot settings appropriately for their community
  • Monitor bot usage and address any misuse promptly
  • Ensure bot configuration complies with Discord's Terms of Service
  • Respond to user complaints and moderation issues fairly
  • Keep server rules clear and consistent with these guidelines
  • Report bugs, security issues, or policy violations to our support team

6. Enforcement and Consequences

Progressive Discipline

We employ a progressive discipline approach for most violations:

  • First Offense: Warning and education about proper usage
  • Second Offense: Temporary suspension of bot services (1-7 days)
  • Third Offense: Extended suspension (7-30 days)
  • Repeated Violations: Permanent ban from all Strangeer services

Immediate Termination

The following violations may result in immediate permanent suspension:

  • Malicious attacks on bot infrastructure or other users
  • Severe harassment or threats of violence
  • Distribution of illegal content or malware
  • Coordinated abuse or ban evasion attempts
  • Commercial exploitation without authorization

7. Appeals Process

If you believe an enforcement action was taken in error, you may appeal through our support system:

  • Submit an appeal through our Discord support server
  • Include relevant details and evidence supporting your case
  • Appeals are reviewed within 72 hours by our moderation team
  • Decisions are final after the appeals process is complete
  • Repeated frivolous appeals may result in extended restrictions

8. Reporting Violations

Help us maintain a positive community by reporting guideline violations:

  • Discord Support Server: Join our official support server for real-time assistance
  • Email: Send reports to support@Strangeer.bot
  • Dashboard: Use the "Report Issue" feature in your bot dashboard
  • Emergency Issues: For urgent security matters, contact security@Strangeer.bot

Note: False reports or abuse of the reporting system may result in restrictions on your ability to submit future reports.

9. Updates and Changes

These Community Guidelines may be updated periodically to reflect changes in our services, community standards, or legal requirements. We will notify users of significant changes through:

  • Announcements in our Discord support server
  • Email notifications to registered users
  • Dashboard notifications when logging in
  • Updates to the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
